float on the wind & see the sky
we go through the caves a mile high
& we touch the stars with our lips when we cry.

Something dear was always lost –

We all pay the ferry what we can –
staring into the face of the ferryman.
Acheron is a bitter river –
it’s just a taker, it ain’t no giver.

Loss is a change that comes in the night
